Man- I am BEAT !! Between all the home festivities for Christmas, my youngest son's b-day party preparations and and the holiday concert I am in charge of at the school -- I am plumb tuckered-out!!
I am SO looking forward to a lovely cuppa Christmas tea following the completion of this short little Kitchen Christmas post....
I have a small little kitchen, attached directly onto the family room. I don't do a lot of decor in here, but I really enjoy putting together a little vignette each season on these display shelves.
On the table- a poinsettia, a grapevine tree covered in "snow" and a votive jar, striped like a minty candy cane. Pretty and easy to move at dinner time!!
These plates have always hung here but I decided I wanted a little change for the festive season. I used my Cricut to cut some red and white background shapes for the "joyous" black lettering.
Some natural greenery here on this shelf along with vintage velvet-covered candles and the cutest cottage salt-and-pepper shakers you have ever seen!!
I have never purchased REAL holly before. I sprang for one bunch last weekend and have been spreading it carefully throughout the house.
Love my new Reindeer teapot - my husband's parents know me so well!!
And I finally found a vintage Santa mug. Can't wait to add to this collection!!
So much to see and enjoy in one little space. It brings a smile to my face every day - and it never fails to tweak the interest of every visitor we have into our home, too!
I love your shelf and your plates ~ they're so cheerful and pretty! Very creative and cute how you put the letters onto the plates - love it. :-)
ReplyDeleteCute! I really love that teapot! My mom used to collect teapots, so I can appreciate a cute teapot. :-)
