It`s done!! It`s done !!
It has to be done because there isn`t any more room for anything else!!
I`ve painted, decoupaged and sewn everything I can and now it`s time to step back and enjoy the finished space!
Here is the kids` bathroom early last fall when I grew tired of the orange accents :
Let the makeover begin!!
Back in October I began by Stencilling the largest wall in the room.
This was a big and frustrating job, but I LOVE how it turned out!!
Shortly after that, I exchanged the silver, builder-grade cabinet knobs for these funky polka-dot ones.
Hubby took out the boring "boob-light" fixture and replaced it with this vintage light which I paid $2.50 for at the Habitat for Humanity resale store.
I made this ``Bathroom Pixie`` to keep watch over the kids and to make sure they were flossing and brushing carefully!
I filled the wall space above our Pixie with this 3D paper star art.
I made this Paper Mosaic Art as a tutorial for a guest post at Pocket Full of Pink. It went perfectly into this bathroom space.
To fill the space above the toilet I created these Bathroom Reminder Signs to make sure the kids started each day with cleanliness and happiness.
To jazz up the plain white shower curtain, I added some pennants.
Nope. I couldn't leave the step stool alone either. Here is how I added the text and swirl.
To finish up, I re-hung these adorable pictures of my three kids as babies enjoying the tub.
"You are my Sunshine" greets the kids every morning, too. I grabbed this at a discount decor store.
Where do the kids put their "bathroom reading?" In a freshly re-painted magazine rack hung on the wall near the throne.
And here it is. Complete.
RED and AQUA all over.
Looking at the after pictures I see I may have gone a little overboard. Hmmm...
But the kids disagree. They think it is perfect.
And it's them I did it for, right?
Love it! I wouldn't say you went overboard....what kid wouldn't love all of that. :)

It looks so cute! I agree with the kids when they said it’s perfect. It doesn’t matter if you went overboard or whatnot, what’s important is they loved it, and it makes all your efforts worth it. Congrats on nailing it, and thanks for sharing!
